Funny and makes you remember what love is like

I like the characters, it's romance without being a porn, which I really appreciate. There are a few curse words which I don't like so I'm rating it 4 starts instead of 5 I do wish the books were longer, they are all only a couple days of reading (at the most, sometimes I'm finished with the book in one day and I'm not a fast reader). All the books end after the characters get together and it should go beyond that, develop the story of their lives together!

It’s Okay

This is the final book in one of my favorite series. It started out pretty good and the characters are relatable, but then it started to lose its luster and I had a hard time finishing the book. Mia, a city girl at heart, moves to Texas for her new job and falls in love with a farmer/cowboy, Josh. Overall, it's a sweet story with a sweet ending. They both have their insecurities and it was so great to see them grow as they overcame their own personal challenges. In my humble opinion, I think the book would've been better if it was also written with Josh's point of view. On the flip side, I can't wait for Andie and Wyatt's book. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Opposites attract!

I’ve read pretty much everything by Susannah Nix and I enjoy her writing style. She never disappoints. She has great world building that allows the reader to be immersed without being over done. The small town vibe of Crowder TX is no exception. Being from a small town myself I felt at home. Her heroines are amazing but complicated while her heroes are gorgeous and beautifully flawed. Mia’s determination to stick to her plan to advance her career makes sense but her struggle to feel like she belongs anywhere rings true. Josh’s anxiety is understandable and my heart broke for him. Some may think he was overreacting but unless you’ve been effected in the same manner you have no idea. Nix has a way of taking real life struggles, brings attention to them in realistic manners, and makes it clear that readers are not alone in their struggles. I adore that Nix points out that we’re all different and beautiful just as we are. Both Mia and Josh fill that void that’s missing in their life. The characters have great chemistry that doesn’t feel forced. There was so much that I loved about this series. I’m sad the series has come to an end but I’m looking forward to what seems to be a great set up for a new series.

Romantic calculus? Elementary, my dear, yes. Mia is in Crowder TX for a one year gig. With a PhD in mathematics, her career plans were derailed. Now, she’s meeting the locals, including Josh, the goat farmer who named his goats after renowned female authors (hey, that’s hot). He’s got his own trauma and baggage. See, cowboys and STEM are compatible. But Mia’s time in the country is finite. Recommend.

Cute Read

I loved this series. I like that the women are portrayed as intelligent and independent. Towards the end I didn’t think I liked where the author was taking the story but it ended well.

Great book

Great series with a main characters who has her entire life planned out until she falls in love and everything changed. The story is very well done and the characters are great.
